You deserve a space where you can be yourself, speak openly, and feel respected. My style is conversational and laid-back, with a direct, goal-oriented approach. I’ll meet you with understanding, and I’ll also challenge thoughts or behaviors when that can help you move toward the changes you want.

I work with individuals ages 10 and up and with couples. I have a particular interest in supporting LGBTQIA+ clients and neurodivergent people, including those making sense of a later diagnosis. I also work with people exploring their identity, navigating religious trauma or concerns related to being transgender, and facing OCD, ADHD, relationship difficulties, self-esteem concerns, life transitions, behavioral challenges, and stress or burnout.

My work is person-centered and shaped around your experiences, current circumstances, personality, and goals. I draw on cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, solution-focused therapy, and motivational interviewing. Together, we can reconnect with your strengths, recognize your agency, and explore choices that align with your values.

I believe a safe, nonjudgmental relationship creates room for meaningful change. In our first session, I hope you feel comfortable and connected. Therapy doesn’t have to look one particular way, and needing support is an everyday human experience. I see each client as a person first and offer the same respect and understanding across backgrounds, identities, and sexual orientations.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Mental Health Service Provider designation and have worked in the mental health field for 10 years. My experience in substance use treatment shaped my direct, person-centered approach and inspired me to become a therapist serving people with a wider range of needs. I earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Tennessee and master’s degrees in applied behavior analysis and mental health counseling from Capella University.

Outside of work, I enjoy fishing, hunting, kayaking, concerts, movies, and time with family and friends.
