Who We Are
Powell Counseling Center was founded when Kayla Tatum-Sharp and Ashley Arriola decided to merge their independent practices to create something bigger: a space rooted in community, accessibility, and compassionate care for the people of North Knox County.

Both born and raised in North Knox and proud first-generation college graduates, Kayla and Ashley are passionate about expanding access to quality mental health care—especially in underserved and rural communities.

Please note that this is not a 24-hour crisis center. We see clients by appointment only.
